i bought this for job training and the job i would have recieved after it but only 1 day @ training and i had to unplug it. the interference was way more than i could handle.
CON: There is a little bit of distortion at higher volume, and it took a little work to adjust along the 6 settings PRO: good quality+price, I am pleased to say this headset works well.Other reviews are right you need to follow setup directions-- plug it into the handset and you pickup and hangup using the handset.
Buy this one with confidence. He is THRILLED with his Plantronics. Hubby is particularly critical of phone devices. He's been in sales for over 20 years, has a nearly deaf ear and HATES to hear poor voice quality in receiving or talking. Works from home, pays his own expenses so buying it right the first time is important.
Overall Great Investment. Also it is easy to switch between the handset and headset. I like that there are volume and mute controls right on the base. The only upgrade I would have liked is a way to easily connect/disconnect the headset to the base - I would leave my headpiece on my head all the time - but when I need to get up from my desk I have to take it all the way off - it would be nice to just "disconnect" it. I bought 2 of these for our office. We love them because we make a lot of calls every day and it is So much better than using the handset. The sound is clear and the ear piece is very comfortable.
A cordless gives you greater mobility,yes, but for the price (especially at Amazon), you can't beat it. I have had no complaints from anyone I've talked to while using it. Plantronics TELEPHONE HEADSET SYSTEM ( S11 ) The Plantronics S11 corded headset is a real Godsend for a job that requires heavy phone usage. Gives you the ability to use both hands, and the sound is very clear. I saved $25.00 over Office Depot's price buying through Amazon.
